You would wonder why we are spending much time talking about the issue of value and helping other people, the simple reason is that this is important in MARKETING.

A lot of people think that marketing is about going to cajole people to give you their money, how thieves manipulate with words, skewing sentences and statements to trigger emotions, and using hypnotic sales, scripts, and sales strategies to get people to pay you now.

Listen, all of that is fine but if you lack the basic mentality around why you are in business, long term, you are going to have an issue, in the short time, yea, you probably do by.

That's what the good book says. If we choose just to scheme our way to the top, it's going to be hard to stay at the top. There’s a difference between someone who walked his way to the top using ethical principles and someone who schemed his way to the top.

There are two things that differentiate these people, if you knock off the guy who schemed his way to the top and he falls down from the top, he’s going to find it very hard to get back there because, by this time he has already shown everybody that he is a scammer, he’s shown everybody that he cannot be trusted.

The people who trusted him before that helped him on his way to the top, he got there and he found his way to the bottom, right, now he cannot go back to them for help, nor convince them to do business. He has lost a lot of trust that took him up, a trust he defiled, a trust he disregarded, and that took him to where he is. It's now a problem to leverage that trust again.

You see it's just like when you join a network marketing company, you tell one friend he follows you, he brings a lot of money, you make a lot of money, and then the business becomes bad you go to another friend, you do the same thing before you know some people have burnt their entire network.

They’ve introduced people and many times they did not give these people a clear picture. They were just about making money so they used these people to get to the top due to the trust these people had for them now, they find themselves in a situation where they cannot go back to these people, even though there’s another business deal on the table, they can’t. They need to look for new people to scam because they have burnt these other relationships, you see the problem which is why we need to be very careful. We need to be very intentional about the business of value.

I understand that in business things go wrong, yea, you know maybe here a little, and there a little you could get into problems, maybe the people that you were in this deal with probably would not understand, I get it, it happens, we’ve all had our fair share of bad business experience, but if this is your lifestyle meaning all you do is to scheme and scam to succeed in the name of marketing, you are going to have problems.

Like we say in direct response advertising we lead value which is the advertising you should learn because it is the cheapest form of advertising. We don't go to Facebook or Instagram or youtube or anywhere and say come and join this or come and join that. No,we go there and we say listen, you have this problem or that problem and I have the answer that you seek. You give them the answer for free and let them review the answer and if they see that this person knows something that can help them.

We say you can also become part of this business that we do, and this is how we do the business, we do it in a way that is going to help you and they look and the things that you have put in place to help them succeed it becomes very easy to say yes If they see that really working with this person I can actually get my goals met.
